Our Story
Fire Protection Services was founded in 2007 by the late Ron Eves, a
former firefighter with a strong commitment to keeping people safe,
particularly vulnerable members of the community and those who care
for them.
Ron built the
business on clear and practical values:
Continuing the Legacy
Following Ron’s
passing in September 2017, the business continued under family
ownership and management, with a commitment to maintaining the
principles he believed in.
Those principles
remain at the heart of the service today: helping people stay safe,
ensuring clients understand their responsibilities both legally and
practically, and delivering training that is clear, engaging and
useful.
Since 2017, the
business has expanded its services to provide fire risk assessments
nationally and training across a wider regional area.
Where We Are Now
Following the
challenges presented by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the company
structure was reviewed and, in 2024, the services were brought
together under Independent Consultancy Group.
As part of
Independent Consultancy Group, we are able to continue providing the
same practical and professional fire safety support, while benefiting
from a wider organisational structure and broader service capability.
Our focus remains
the same: delivering clear advice, effective training and
proportionate fire safety support that helps clients protect people
and meet their responsibilities with confidence.
